LIFE Montserrat at Alícia’t 2016

Alicia is a private, non-profit foundation with the main objective of promoting healthy eating for everyone. Once a year it organizes Alícia’t, a festive event devoted to easy, healthy and funny cuisine. The 2016 edition took place in Sant Benet de Bages on 30 April and 1 May with a significant increase in activities and visitors compared to previous editions.
Throughout the weekend, visitors have enjoyed cooking workshops, tasting meetings, fair stands, concerts and activities for all ages. Cooks and top chefs took up most of the attention but, alongside them, local farmers and food producers played also a main role through the exhibition of their highest gastronomic quality products.
LIFE Montserrat has been invited to Alícia’t as a local project committed to land management and sustainable food production. It has been a very positive experience both for public awareness and dissemination of the project objectives and actions and as an opportunity to expand commercial outlets for LIFE Montserrat farmers’ products. So we look forward to be there next year again!
