Three technicians from the Nature Conservation Department of the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture came to Catalonia last week and visited several LIFE projects currently under way. The objective was to learn about preparatory and implementation work concerning these projects in order to transfer all that knowledge to Hungarian LIFE Programme’s potential beneficiaries as a way to improve their effectiveness in obtaining financial support to their own projects.
On Wednesday, 11 May, the Hungarian delegation visited the LIFE Montserrat project. In the early morning there was a meeting in Barcelona where Anna Fidlóczky, Veronika Bokor and Ágnes Vozár, the Hungarian technicians, had the opportunity to present all their questions and issues of their interest to the project partners. Afterwards, the Hungarian delegation visited the project area with a group of LIFE Montserrat technicians led by Technical Coordinator Leire Miñambres.
The day proved to be a success in the exchange of experience and hopefully the information provided will be helpful for the Hungarians in the near future.
